So now that I have a Facebook this whole blogging thing kind of gets pushed to the side. But, since I have a handful of loyal followers that do not have fb I am going to try and be more consistent.
We are all so ready for summer. Sophia only has 2 more weeks of Mothers Day Out, then swim lessons start, then Keith turns 35, then Keith and I go to Las Vegas, then we have Sophia’s 4th birthday party, then our 6th anniversary, then family vacation to Sea World and Padre, then I get to cut back to 3 days a week of work, then Sophia starts Pre-K, Lola starts MDO, and summer will be over. In between all of that we plan to make a trip to the zoo, spend lots of time at the pool, make a trip or two to the lake (hint hint Matt & Randa), and hopefully sell our house!
Keith and I are very ready for our Vegas trip. Neither of us have ever been and we are so looking forward to a little r & r without kids. Hopefully they will not ruin their chances of ever having an extended stay at Honey & Poppy’s again. We finalized all of our reservations this week and our itinerary goes something like this…
Leave Dallas at 6:30 am on a Friday and arrive in Vegas at 8:30. Check in to The Palazzo. Shop, shop, tour some hotels, shop, eat lunch, shop, tour some more hotels, shop, and then get ready for dinner at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill. Keith is most excited about dinner at Mesa Grill b/c he has a man crush on Bobby Flay (and John Mayer, so maybe we will see one of them?).
Saturday I plan on lounging by this pool for most of the day and then sushi dinner at Koi.
Sunday is undecided, but we are eating dinner at Olives while we watch the water fountains dance to music, and then we are seeing Cirque Du Soleil O at The Bellagio.
Monday, more poolside relaxation until we come home late that night.
Are you jealous?

Mother’s Day turned out to be so much fun. First, remember my last post about how Keith did not get my email about the specific gift I wanted? Well, turns out, he got it and actually surprised me for once. He asked me to make a public apology for dogging him on my last post. Sorry. Anyway, my Mom was at my sister’s house in Arkansas so we ended up going with our friends, Matt and Randa, to their family lake house for the day. The kids had so much fun fishing, riding jet skis and playing in the water and I had fun watching them and eating way too much good food! We cannot wait to go back!
Until next time…

Look at that Blondie! Where did we get a blond headed child from?

This is typical Lola. Walking around with Sophia’s panties over whatever she has on.

This picture cracks me up. One day I was on the computer when Sophia walks in, looking like this and says, “Mommy, I look just like Jason Castro!” That girl loves her some Jason Castro!

I just love this face!

Since I’m no longer on FB, I LOVE your blog!! The only way I can keep up with y’all.
I thought for some reason that you and Keith had already been to Vegas…and Yes..I’M Jealous!!!
BTW…I just love that “Jason Castro” picture!!! Your girls are just adorable!!!
Keep Blogging!!!
