Life at the Green house has been fast lately. I am working like a dog, Keith is working like a dog, Sophia is wrapping up school and Awanas, and Lola never stops. We finally put our house on the market and actually got an offer on it within the first week, but we could not come to an agreement on price. Not selling the house quickly is actually quite fine with me considering that we do not have time to look for another house, haven’t had time to do all of our pre-qualifying loan stuff, pack all of our junk, and move to another house at this time. We are planning 3 trips this summer and trying to come up with fun activities to do with the girls. Sophia keeps saying that we are going camping this summer and I keep reminding her that we are not camping kind of people.
Since Keith and I are going to Vegas for his birthday in early June we decided that we are not bikini ready so we better start working on our fitness. We are going on 2 weeks of P90X and quite frankly, I am discouraged. I feel fatter since I started than I have in a long time. I am probably going to have to break down and stop eating sweets soon, but I really don’t want to have to do that. Pray for my baby belly to just melt away before I have to let chocolate go.
Sophia is growing up way too fast. Her 4th birthday is quickly approaching and she thinks that we are going to host a party for her at Build a Bear along with about 20 friends. Don’t you just love how kids have absolutely no concept of money! She continues to make us laugh with her quick comebacks and dramatic tendencies. She has already had her mouth washed out with soap a few times and still loves to over accessorize. She remembers everything and is always helpful in reminding me where I left things around the house. Most of her time is spent in teacher mode where she constantly calls Keith and I by our first names and tells us what to do. We just go with it and hope that this particular phase passes quickly!
Lola is a handful right now. She has her own agenda at all times and you can never take your eyes off of her. She all of the sudden figured out how to talk and I can understand most things that she says or asks for. If there is any member of our family missing at any time she runs around saying “where mommy? where daddy? where fia?”. She goes in for her 18 month checkup this Tues. and I am anxious to see how big she is because she is still very stout. We had to spend $75 on 2 pairs of summer sandals because her fat, flat feet will not fit in to Payless or Target shoes. Trust me, I tried every single pair, even the ugly ones. We now have to shop at Stride Rite which makes my stomach turn to spend that kind of money on a 1 year old but what do you do? Let her go barefoot? Maybe that is not a bad idea?
Here are a few of the only Easter pics we got from Sophia’s egg hunt at school, family pics in our Sunday best on Saturday, and Easter morning. If you were wondering that is a chicken strip that the girls are holding for their pictures, yes Lola is supposed to have a bow in her hair and the last pic is just because I think it is really funny! Hope your holiday was great and I will try and be a better blogger in the future!

Too funny! You will have to put that picture in Lola’s senior yearbook! Thanks for the great update. Good luck on the house process!
